Tree of Life Symbol
Preamble.
Prehistory as Daterminative Factor of History
Ethnographic studies of archaic worldview revealed that the original dual representation of the world (man - woman, friend - foe) was complemented by its tripartite structure in the vertical - "high", "medium" and "low". This structure underpinned social organization of society (priests, warriors, workers) and time concepts (future, present, and past). Such an outlook obtain a reflection in the image Tree of Life because of its universatility, coupled with the direction of growth of the tree up, and this its feature can symbolize life and development, and for dual representation reverse direction (down) acquires the value of decay and death. Tree of Life is one of the variants of the Tree of the World, typical mythic-poetical image embodying the universal concept of the universe and the peculiar worldview of many peoples of the world in the early stages of their spiritual development. World Tree appears in different forms with more or less expressed features as the "Tree of Life", "Death Tree", "Tree of Evil", "Treeof Good", "Tree of Knowledge", "Fertility Tree", "Tree of Heaven," etc. Tree of Life as a whole embodies a complex mystical triune birth - fertility - death and reflects a generalized representation of a phased development of a variety of media life (people, animals, plants, some elements of inanimate nature).

Grain, thrown to the ground dies, but gives rise to a new life, obeying the laws of motion of the sun in the sky. That is why the stylized image of the Sun and the Tree of Life can be found on the preserved ceramics, but they had to be present in other types of visual art, using less durable materials - a wood carving, painting and embroidery on fabric, manufactures of straw, etc.
